The Ultimate Portland Guide

Portland is one of the parishes on the island that is often overlooked. Most travellers, when visiting Jamaica, mainly head to the tourist hub in Montego bay; some might even venture to Negril or Ocho Rios. But can I tell you they are missing out! Portland is the ultimate relaxing getaway consist of stunning white sandy beaches, natural lagoons, great Jamaican cuisines, and beautiful places to stay.  Here is a Guide to Portland:

How to get Portland

Portland is on the east side of the island that takes about two and a half hours from Kingston. Coming from overseas, you can fly into Kingston Norman Manley International Airport from any of these airlines American, Jetblue, Spirit, Delta, Caribbean airline, Air Canada, British Airway, Cayman Airway, Copa and Westjet.

You can rent a car from the airport or hire a private shuttle.
